Critical manufacturing knowledge is rarely contained completely in drawings, work instructions or process documentation. It also lives in people: how problems are recognized, how processes are adjusted, which details matter, and which risks experienced teams know to watch.
That knowledge has to move intentionally. The sending and receiving organizations need a communication structure that connects engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and leadership across different cultures and working styles.
Business continuity is part of the project
A transfer cannot be judged only by whether equipment arrives and production starts. Customer supply, quality and operational stability have to be protected during the transition. The receiving operation must be stabilized before improvement becomes the main objective.
